The owners, administrators and staff of Stepping Stones and Small Wonders desire to continually provide top quality care to each child enrolled. Our goal is to serve as an extension of the efforts and desires of the children's parents. We strive to be a valuable resource to our community and to the families that we serve, as well as a solid member of the business community. We plan to grow and develop our facilities and services as community needs change. We hope to increasingly become an example to our community and beyond of what quality child care should be in terms of facility as well as heart.

What are we "about"? We are about kids. I have had a longstanding interest in all aspects of children. This interest determined my career direction as a Pediatrician, and has a huge influence in my "ownership" of childcare establishments. I have intentionally been very involved in the management of our centers, and am not an absent owner. Childcare is an extremely important service for a community, and how it is run is critical to the developmental, emotional, and physical well-being of the children. Our daycare company has never been satisfied with adequate or good enough. We want and strive to implement the best for our children. This is shown in our philosophy, our program, our staffing, and our facilities. I am extremely proud of our centers. We have developed excellent facilities, but more importantly, have developed outstanding leadership and core staff. I would consider our staff and facilities the best available in our communities, and this has to do with more than even buildings and staff—it has to do with heart. I have always told parents that when they look at childcare facilities, they should observe safety and security, cleanliness, organization, and activities, but that the key is the heart and attitude of the leadership and core staff. They should choose to work with the people that they feel they can trust and have confidence in—that is who they should want to entrust their children to. And in Madison County that is Stepping Stones and Small Wonders. We are proud of who we are and who we are becoming, and we are proud to serve you!
